Gameface-brand growing

Sunday, January 3rd, 2010

gameface

Crosman Corporation – a manufacturer which is mostly known from their airguns launched their Verdict-BB´s almost year ago. Since then, we´ve heard rumors that they will launch their own Gameface -line of airsoft guns as well. Before this, they have had “airsoft” guns available under their original Crosman brand – which are really very simple and cheap “market grade” chinese toys.

Apparently their new guns have been manufactured by Classic Army, which gives more promise of quality and usability compared to the older line of guns. Gameface guns are available online from www.gamefaceairsoft.com

Friday, December 11th, 2009

We´ve been preparing our fifth issue for quite a while now and we are certain that this is the best issue so far. Theres some real goodies coming up like Li-Po -battery and Echo1 E90 vs. CA90 Sportline -evaluations, quite interesting article about eye damages and large photo report from Berget 7 airsoft-game in Sweden. Of course, this is not all. Be sure to get your own copy and see the rest!

PPSh-41 for airsoft?

Saturday, December 5th, 2009

PPSH41

Something new has been confirmed. Apparently AGM has manufactured some prototypes of Russian PPSh-41 sub-machinegun from WWII-era, which seems to be quite well made. Obviusly, no airsoft manufacturer (even Chinese) cannot make these guns as crude as they were during the war in 1940´s.

Anyway, even this gun would not be available in 2010, this is something that people would be waiting for. There is not much other Russian WWII-guns available for re-enacting airsofters than KTWs´91-30.

Because people in ASCUK (british players, you know what we´re talking about) has welcomed us to UK markets so well, we promised to give something back at them. We offered the ASCUK-users one free article from our magazine and they voted for this article from our second issue.

Thousands of airsoft guns destroyed

Thursday, October 15th, 2009

Chinese newspaper, Shenzen Daily published a story, where Chinese officials destroy about 2800 airsoft guns and 1500 kilograms of spare parts. As we all know, airsoft is banned in China and officials think that is very hazardous for public safety to allow manufacturing gun-like-products in their area. Also, apparently they already have destroyed 12000 guns this year.

Issue #4 is finally ready!

Sunday, July 5th, 2009

The long and eagerly awaited issue #4 of Airsoft Soldier is finally going to print.  We know its been a long time coming, and we apologise for that.  Unfortunately, we had some unforeseen problems in the design and production area, and our publishing schedule was also too ambitious.  However, we’ve sorted these issues out, we have some new people on board to help us going forward, and we hope that you’ll agree that the magazine looks even better than before – and was worth the wait this time.

Airsoft Soldier #3 is out!

Tuesday, January 20th, 2009

We just got the third issue of Airsoft Soldier from the print, and it’s looking B-E-A-U-tiful! At the time of writing it is already shipped out to our subscribers and dealers. In this issue we have made improvements (“third time’s the charm”) and we’ve had more resources to put into the development of the magazine.

The content is again made to cover a wide scope of interest, and every airsofter will find useful and interesting articles to their liking, as well as a possibility to learn something new.

We have beautiful pictures from an IPSC Action Air (Airsoft Practical) event in Macao, vivid coverage about airsoft in Hungary and a mammoth of an article about an innovative new type of an airsoft event in Estonia. We also take a step to the new world and our Team Introduction features a US-based team this time, Spartan Assault from Maine.

Our electric reviews feature the brand new King Arms GALIL SAR as the cover story, the rather refined Systema TW5A4, and the “Star of Israel” UZI SMG by Tokyo Marui. Further for electric guns, our “Pimp My Gun” has instructions how to build your own FET-unit with a braking feature. The gas gun articles this time are the Star AW338 and the Socom Gear Wilson Combat CQB Elite.

On top of these there are lots of smaller stories and articles of combat and safety gear as well as accessories, and a “Special Gun” is again featured.

Our subscribers will receive a calendar for the year 2009 free of charge together with the magazine. The calendar features rather cool airsoft photography and a very attractive centerfold. New subscriptions start from issue #4 by default, and the order form features boxes to tick if you wish to have the previous issues as well.

Third issue coming up!

Here´s also some preview to few articles that will be in our next issue.
